Sekkie turns 3 today and I've been playing with tiaras to give to all the little girls (there is a freaky absence of little boys her age in our neighbourhood) at her party tomorrow. So far the design has evolved from this:
To this, thanks to the nice lady at the bead shop who suggested wire. I made this one last night and it's a little too floppy -- the wire is very thin and the thread I wove in doesn't quite provide the extra support that's needed -- so V3 will be a little narrower, I think. Crocheting with wire is strange but the effects are pleasing.
